7/26: The Eastern States Tour and Summary

With hitting the Atlantic we also finish the final segment this segment was titled the “The Eastern States Tour”. It took us from Pennsylvania thru New York, Vermont, and finished in New Hampshire. This was 632 miles with 25,000 feet of climbing.
Hitting the Atlantic also means that we have our final totals, I was temped to take a left and keep going to Newfoundland. We have crossed 13 states and 3,836 miles with 121,500 feet of climbing. Do to bonus miles I road over 4,000 miles, this brings my total for the year to 6,000.
During the ride I went thru 6 gloves, 5 tubes, 3 tires, 1 wheel. As a group during the ride there where 3 new bikes, 3 wheels, lots of tires and spokes, and over 300 tubes. Of the 26 rider that where going cost to cost 24 made it, and of the 25, 16 of us did it with any time in a van. There where 3 crashes that required trips to the hospital, and a bunch of minor crashes.
